Meet Nikki Bautista: New Elementary Special Education Teacher – Ms. Bautista has been teaching in the Philippines for the past 7 years. Her first teaching position was 1^st grade in a General Education position at a small school. After her time in 1^st grade, she was hired as a Special Education teacher at Manilla Cathedral School, where she remains today. Meeting children and people from different cultures is one of the things she is most excited about in her new position at Oakes. Nikki says her eldest brother is her “inspiration and reason for being passionate about Special Education, he will be turning 31 this coming July." In her spare time, she enjoys reading and studying and is always looking for helpful webinars, seminars, and online courses. When she is not focusing on professional development, she likes to explore new places, cook, bake, and even plays volleyball and badminton occasionally. Welcome to Oakes, Nikki!
