Meet Liezel Lurazan: New Early Childhood Special Education (Pre-K) Teacher – Mrs. Lurazan has been teaching for almost 13 years in her home country, the Philippines, as well as in the Middle East. She has worked with children ages 3-6 years old and has considerable experience with students in the younger range. Liezel says “I am so excited to join the Sheyenne Valley Special Education Unit and work with the faculty and staff at Oakes! I am looking forward to a good year at school for everyone.” She also mentioned that she is a bit nervous about a new country and a new adventure, but she is hoping that her family, her husband and 3-year-old son, will be able to join her in North Dakota, too! Mrs. Lurazan says she is excited to discover the beauty of the United States and is looking forward to experiencing winter with snow. Welcome Liezel!
