Meet Jaidyn Sander: New 2nd Grade Teacher – Ms. Sander grew up on a farm in Hankinson, North Dakota. She graduated from Hankinson High School and went on to attend the University of Jamestown, where she obtained a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Character in Leadership. Jaidyn has always had a love of reading and math. She says, “I can’t wait to share my love of learning with my future students!” When she isn’t lost in a good book, she enjoys spending time outside, playing sports, playing board games, and appreciating good quality time with family. Jaidyn helped coach softball in Oakes last summer, student taught in Mrs. Miller’s 3rd grade classroom during the school year and is excited to be back on the diamonds helping coach girls’ softball again this summer! As some may already know, Ms. Sander is engaged to Oakes High School Alumni Andrew Hill, and by the time she steps into her classroom at the end of August, will be known as Mrs. Hill! Welcome, Jaidyn! We are happy to have you in the classroom again at Oakes Elementary, this time as an official member of Team OPS!
