We want to be straightforward with our community: if the June 9th referendum does not pass, the challenges facing our buildings don't go away.
The high school HVAC system is at the end of its life. When it fails — not if — the district will face emergency repair or replacement costs that are almost always more expensive than planned work. And the elementary kitchen will continue to fall further behind current standards.
The School Facilities Improvement Committee worked to give our community a focused, affordable path forward. At $6.3 million — a number shaped by community input — this referendum represents responsible stewardship, not an ask for a blank check.
We're asking for the chance to do this right. Vote June 9th.
