Here are a few we've already heard:

Q: How much would this cost the average taxpayer?
A: Estimated tax impact based on $100,000 of true and full property value.

Residential Property

 $84.70 per year

 $7.06 per month

Commercial or Agricultural Property

 $94.11 per year

 $7.84 per month

Q: Why only these two projects?
A: The School Facilities Improvement Committee — community members and district staff — reviewed all the evaluation findings and chose to focus on the two most critical needs: high school HVAC replacement and the elementary kitchen remodel. Keeping the plan focused brought the total to $6.3 million, consistent with what community survey respondents said they preferred.

Q: Is this money guaranteed to go to the projects listed?
A: Yes. Referendum funds are designated specifically for the two projects identified by the committee.

Q: What happens if the referendum doesn't pass?
A: The district would continue managing aging systems with limited resources, likely leading to higher emergency repair costs and ongoing disruptions.
