  • Full Time Junior High Math Teacher

    Oakes Public School is seeking a Full Time Jr. High Math teacher with or without coaching for the 2021-2022 school year.  OPS is an innovative school district with a steady enrollment of 500 students K-12. We have partnered with the ND Department of Public Instruction and KnowledgeWorks on a five-year transition to personalized competency-baselearning.  We are looking for a collaborative team player that is willing to continually grow as an educator and utilize scheduling to provide our students with the essential skills for their success. 

     

    Proper licensing for the state of North Dakota is required.  This full-time position with or without coaching positions(s) responsibilities include but not limited to: 

    • Directing and managing the overall program of mathematics in grades 7-8 

    • Planning and preparation for student learning 

    • Classroom management  

    • Family and community outreach 

    • Assessment of student progress and goals 

    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and the school community 

    • Proficient communication skills and technologies 

    Salary and benefits include: 

    • 20.25% Teacher Retirement, Health Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Vision Insurance 

    • Tuition Reimbursement for advanced degrees and Retention Incentives 

    • All levels of teaching experience accepted

    • Beginning salary $41,250.00-$62,000.00 plus compensation for experience

    Oakes Public School is seeking an elementary music teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.  Oakes Elementary School is an innovative school that is partnered with the ND Department of Public Instruction and KnowledgeWorks on a five-year transition to personalized competency-based learning.  This opening is needed to provide students with the awareness and opportunity to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically within an atmosphere of support, guidance, acceptance, and encouragement. 

    Proper licensing for the state of North Dakota is required.  This is a full-time position with possible coaching positions available, responsibilities include but not limited to:
