OPS Student Ambassadors
-
The Oakes Public Schools Student Ambassadors consist of 15 students, 2 from grades 7-12, and 1 each from grades 4, 5, and 6.
The purpose of the Student Ambassadors is to help staff and administration with ideas, thoughts, and concerns, as we proceed on the Personalized Competency-Based Learning journey. These students will be available to guide tours, provide updates and information to other students, parents, and the community. They will also participate in Professional Development with the Oakes Public Schools staff, providing insight and perspective from the student’s point of view.
The first official training for the Ambassadors was held Monday, January 13, 2020.
