    Who: Seniors and Juniors

    When:The ACT test will no longer be required for all juniors to take the test during the school day because the state is no longer reguiring it and will not pay for this.  Juniors are encouraged to test on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 or Saturday, April 15, 2023. because it will be given at the Oakes High School, South Gym on these Saturdays. Juniors and Seniors wanting to take the ACT, or retest, must register and pay for the ACT test by credit card at: www.myact.org  You can take it  many times as you wish, however, after two times ACT will create a Superscore for you. You cannot do your own for the college application process. 

    What: The ACT is the nation’s most popular college entrance exam accepted and valued by all universities and colleges in the United States. The ACT is based on what students learn in high school and provides personalized information about their strengths for education and career planning. A composite score of 24 is needed for the ND Academic Scholarship and Career and Technical Education Scholarship. If the college you are interested in wants you to take the SAT. Please come and see me.  

    Fee Waiver:  If you qualify for free and reduced meals at school, you can qualify for a fee waiver. The counselor can request one for you. Please see the counselor if you would like a Fee Waiver.

     

    FREE Prep materials: No need to pay for prep materials.
